I managed a quick half hour walk earlier before the rain came on.
This is Merryton Farm, it was originally part of the Duke of Hamilton's estate and one of his main farms. This beautiful place was also the birthplace of the famed Clydesdale Horse. People came from far and wide to buy the horses from here and from the famed breeder, Lawrence Drew.
